Rights and provenance records
HairTrendScout records the source page, original image URL, creator credit, Instagram URL when present, stored media asset, and review status for imported media. These records support editorial review, attribution, replacement, and takedown handling.
How credits are displayed
A creator credit is shown next to the relevant image and links to the recorded Instagram profile when a valid profile URL is available. Credits are not transferred to unrelated images, and a source-site label is not substituted for an identifiable creator.
Reporting a rights concern
Please identify the HairTrendScout page, the specific image, your relationship to the work, and the action requested. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless the editorial team specifically asks for the minimum information needed to verify a claim.
Review and remedy
A credible request may lead to temporary unpublishing, image removal or replacement, credit correction, cache invalidation, and an audit record. HairTrendScout does not promise a particular outcome before the relevant rights and source records are reviewed.
